Volleyball president speaks on three volleyball players contract

The President of the Gambia Volleyball Association, Musa Casa Taal spoke about the contract deal of the three players who recently signed with the University of St. Louis, Senegal.

The volleyball players Sanu Secka and Alieu Njie, point spikers and Muhammed Jallow, a setter were accompanied by the President of the Gambia Volleyball Association, Musa Casa Taal, who facilitated the signing of the contract.

According to Casa Taal, they have agreed on the terms of the contract with the university, which he said, is expected to last up to June 2010.

He also said that a voucher has been raised for their payment, adding that every player will be paid 50, 000 CFA on a monthly basis and 10, 000 CFA to cover their weekend expenditures.

He further revealed that match bonuses were also taken care of, noting that accommodation and feeding have also been discussed.

The three players' talents were sported in a recent tournament, meant for sub-regional integration through sports held in Ziguinchorr.
