Two youths, Lamin Fatty and Lamin Conteh were on Thursday 23rd July 2009, arraigned before the Kanifing Magistrates' Court to answer to two criminal charges of house breaking and stealing.

While count two read that, the accused persons on the same day and place stole one gas container, valued at D380 and one travelling bag containing wearing apparels, valued at D4,050, amounting to a total of D4,430, being the property of one Abdoulie Bah.
Both pleaded guilty to the charges preferred against them, and subsequently the case was adjourned for conviction and sentencing.
Meanwhile, the accused persons were remanded in custody until the next adjourned date.
