Two tennis stars to camp in Dakar ahead of Common Wealth Games

Gambian number one tennis player Basuruwa Conteh along side his compatriot Seedy Bojang this morning left Banjul to undergo a month-long training camp in Dakar, Senegal in preparation for the forthcoming Commonwealth Games in India between 4th-24th October 2010.

Seedy Bojang, one of the finest tennis stars with a series of national and international tennis titles to his name who confirmed this story to Pointsport in an interview yesterday night said the Dakar training camp will present him and his colleague with the unique opportunity to prepare much better before the start of the big event, which is only two months away.

This professional training camp, according to Bojang, was made possible through the help and support of the Gambia Lawn Tennis Association and the Gambia National Olympic Committee who also facilitated the trip.
