Fallou Joof and Seedy Jobe were yesterday arraigned
before Magistrate Mbye of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with assault
causing actual bodily harm and wilful damage to property.
They denied the charge and were each granted court bail of D50,000 with a Gambian surety who must deposit an ID card.
The case was adjourned to 19 May 2015.
The charge sheet in count one read that the 1st accused, on 12 April 2015 at Dippa Kunda in the Kanifing Municipality, unlawfully assaulted one Seedy Jobe on his face by stabbing him with a Knife, thereby causing him actual bodily harm.
Count two stated that the 2nd accused, on the same day, wilfully and unlawfully broke the window glass (value unknown), the property of one Abubacarr Camara.
