Sillah and Momodou Juldeh Jallow were recently arraigned before Magistrate
Gomez of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with conspiracy to commit a
felony and stealing from a motor vehicle.
The particulars of offence in count one read that on 27 January 2015, at Bambo Serrekunda in the Kanifing Municipality, they jointly conspired to commit a felony, that is, steal.
Count two stated that they stole from one Fatou Fofana Jeng’s vehicle with registration number BJL 1607G, cash and items worth D29,300, all the property of the said Fatou Fofana Jeng.
The accused persons, who denied the charges, were granted court bail of D50,000 with a Gambian surety each who must swear to an affidavit of means and deposit ID cards.
Further hearing was adjourned to 11 February 2015.
