The case involving Abdoul Hamid Adiamoh, proprietor and Managing Editor of "Today" Newspaper, was on the 29th September 2008, deferred at the Kanifing Magistrates' Court.

When the case was mentioned the defence counsel, Lawyer Camara, told the court that the accused was not present in court.

As a result, he applied to the court to adjourn the case.

Prosecutor 870 Touray did not object to the application made by the defence counsel.

Principal Magistrate Buba Jawo subsequently adjourned the case to the 15th October 2008, for continuation of hearing.

Abdul Hamid Adiamoh was earlier arraigned and charged with seditious intention, a charge he denied.
