Tallinding United on Tuesday hammered Lamin United 4-1 in the week twenty-two fixtures played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium to join Marimoo in the top flight next season.
Tallinding United and Brufut United are competing for the second promotion berth to the top flight prior to their clash with Lamin United, who were relegated to the second tier before their game with Tallinding United.
The Tallinding-based outfit managed to grab victory after netting four goals to regain promotion to the top flight after their demotion to second tier in the 2008-2009 season and the Lamin-based outfit managed to notch in one, which eventually proved to be a consolation for them.
Brufut United missed the chance to gain promotion to the top flight despite their 2-1 win over Blue Star at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium after fellow top-flight promotion chasers Tallinding United hammered Lamin United 4-1 at the Brikama Mini Stadium the same day.
