The worship was attended by several Muslims and was led by the Imam Ratib of Banjul Imam, Cherno Kah.
Speaking at the occasion, Mamodou M. Joof, managing director of Takaful Gambia limited, revealed that the company is the first insurance company in the country that pioneered the profit sharing. He said that Takaful Gambia's operation is based on the Islamic principle making it the first Islamic Insurance Company in the country.
Imam Kah used the opportunity to pray for the company and the country as a whole.
