St. Mary's church Hellesdon Norwich in the UK recently donated learning and teaching materials to Archdeacon Matthias George Memorial School in Serrekunda.
The donated items were handed over to the Headmistress Mrs. Mary Peacock by his lordship Bishop Tilewa Johnson.
In receiving the items, the Headmistress on behalf of the staff, pupils and Parent Teachers Association lauded the church for their immense contributions to the school.
"This assistance has been in existence since 2000 and has made the school to be self-sufficient in relevant modern learning aids," she said.
Headmistress Peacock promised that the gifts would be put to good use.
