The Bullock murder case involving one Agibu Jallow and Babucarr Bah who allegedly conspired to murder one Isatou Jallow, a resident of Bullock, has now been transferred to Special Criminal Court in Banjul.
On the continuation of the case last Wednesday, the matter was heard but could not proceed as the Police Prosecutor 1260 Kolley informed the court that, although the case was initially mentioned in the Lower Court in the Brikama Magistrates' Court, as a capital offence the case would now be heard at Special Criminal Court.
It could be recalled that the accused on or about 4th June 2009, at Bullock in the Western Region of the Republic of The Gambia allegedly conspired and murdered one Isatou Jallow, a resident of Bullock.
When the charge sheet was read to the accused persons and interpreted in the language they all understand, they vehemently denied the charges. Since then they have been remanded at Mile 2 Central Prisons pending the outcome of the case.
