S/K United Register First Point

Newly promoted Serrekunda United, have over the weekend settled for a goalless draw against GPA marking their first point recorded so far in the second division.

The Serrekunda outfit, who have put up an outstanding performance during the third division qualifiers, failed to win a single game after four weeks of play and they are currently languishing at the bottom of the first division table with a point and seconded by Ham Ham with 3.

In the current standings as at week four, Serrekunda East were leading the table with 10 points after thrashing Kaira Silo 3-0 on Saturday in Manjai.

 As part of week five matches yesterday, as we went to press, Interior took on Lamin FC while Nema United and Young Africans were expected to face each other in Manjai.

Serrekunda East will take on 9th place Ham Ham in Manjai on Tuesday. Jambanjelly, who are occupying 6th place with six points, will square up with another team fighting to stay out of the relegation zone, GPA at four points, at Serrekunda East,

In seventh position with six points, Kaira Silo will meet S/K United in Manjai as part of week five matches on Tuesday.
