The Serrekunda-based outfit had a woeful start in the country’s top flight league season, after losing their four previous fixtures against Bakau United, Brikama United and Interior, but managed to secure a point against Wallidan to boost their chances of staying in the top flight next season.
Serrekunda United are still languishing at the bottom of the league table with a single point in five outings, despite their goalless draw with Wallidan,andare expecting to win their remaining fixtures to improve their position in the league.
Interior also drew goalless with Armed Forces in the all-security derby clash played at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium.
Elsewhere, Brikama United drew 1-1 with Gambia Ports Authority at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium, on the same day.
Brikama United have now collected nine points in five games, Armed Forces are with 7 points in five games, Interior have 6 points in five outings. Wallidan are mid-table with 5 points in five games.
