President Yahya Jammeh, who is also the Commander-In-Chief of the Gambia Armed Forces has appointed Brigadier General Serign Modou Njie as the Chief of Army Staff, a news release from the presidency aired over the GRTS revealed last Friday.
This, according to the release, took effect from Thursday 11th March 2010.
