Senegalese Company Donates to Nayconf

Confebad, a Senegal based sports manufacturing company in Dakar, last Friday presented sporting materials to the Nayconf National Organisation Committee worth over D100,000 as part of the companies contribution towards Nayconf.

Speaking at the presentation the permanent secretary Department of State for Youth and Sports, Mamanyick Njie, commended Confebad for their contribution towards the national event noting that the young of The Gambia highly value the donation. He added that all the materials will be put in good use.

In an interview with Pointsports shortly after the presentation, Issa Diop, marketing and commercial manager of Confebad, said it is part of his company's vision to invest in both the youths of The Gambia and Senegal. He said that Nayconf is a big event and they should contribute because the youths of Senegambia are all one.

Mr Diop pointed out that Confebad is a company that manufactures sports materials .

He revealed that it is part of their plans to open a company in The Gambia.

Among the items donated were three giant trophies, 20 footballs, 30 T. Shirts, sets of track suits with The Gambia's flag on them. There is also one special of design for President Jammeh.

He noted that before the finals of the various sporting disciplines medals will also be presented to the NOC.
