Second division promotion race set to go down to the wire in WCR 3rd tier

The Gambia Football Federation second division promotion race is set for a show down to wire in the 2015-2016 West Coast Regional third division league.

Fortune and Gunjur United are the two teams competing for promotion to the country’s second tier next season after their stunning performance in the league campaign.

Fortune are leading the race with 30 points in fifteen league matches one game more than second-place Gunjur United, who have grabbed 29 points in fourteen league matches with a game in hand against Jambanjelly United.

Jambanjelly United are with 21 points in fourteen league matches and are to play against Gunjur United.

Fortune will play away to Kombo Kerewan on Saturday 14 May 2016, at the Kombo Kerewan Football Field.

Elsewhere, Gunjur United will clash with Bijilo at the Bijilo Football Field on the same day.
