Bottom-placed Seaview on Sunday beat Interior 1-0 in the week-fourteen fixture in the 2012-2013 Gamtel-Gamcel-sponsored GFA division one league played at the Brikama Mini Stadium.
Seaview and Interior got promoted to the topflight after their instrumental performance in the second tier last season and shared spoils in the first round.
Despite Seaview carrying the maximum points over the weekend they are still rooted at the bottom of the league standings with 14 points in fourteen games.
Leaders Steve Biko FC have opened up a five-point lead at the top of the league table following their 2-1 win over Samger FC in their week-fourteen encounter of the GFA first division league game played at the Banjul Mini Stadium on Sunday.
Elsewhere, Bakau United drew 2-2 with Gambia Ports Authority at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on the same day.
Steve Biko are still leading the standings with 27 points in fourteen games; Bakau United are 3rd with 20 points in fourteen games, and Gambia Ports Authority and Samger are 9th and 10th positions respectively with 15 points each.
Interior have now dropped to second from bottom with 14 points in fourteen games and will be expecting to win their remaining games to avoid relegation in the season.
