Sanyang Sports Committee donate sporting gears to Immigration

Members of the Sanyang Village Sports Committee recently presented 11 pairs of spikes worth over D10, 000 to The Gambia Immigration Athletics team.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Public Relation Officer of the village sport committee Ousman Bojang, said the Gambia Immigration Department is a partner in development noting that over the years the department has been excelling in all the areas of sports.

He assured them that his committee will always support immigration adding that this is only the beginning more donations will come in the near future.

In receiving the items, the Acting Director General of the Immigration Buba Sagnia thanked the donors for the good gesture adding that the items will go along way in alleviating some of the problems they face in the area of sports

He urged other institutions to emulate the Sanyang Village Sports Committee while re-urging to make the best use of the donated items.
