St Augustines and St Josephs Senior Secondary Schools, jointly called Saints, is one of the schools known to be the home of Gambian athletes. The schools have over the years produced national athletes like Pa Halie Jammeh, Modou Sarr, alias such, and Fatou Tiyana.
Saints yesterday joine the school sports fraternity to stage its Inter-house competition featuring Red,Yellow, Blue and Green houses at the Independence Stadium in Bakau amid hundreds of students chanting to support their athletes.

He said, "Last year, we targeted to be among the first three in the national Inter-schools competition and we happened to emerge third. But this time around we are going all out to have the best result as we are more prepared."
Green house emerged first with 322 points followed by Red with 302, Blue with 287 and yellow with 256 respectively.
