City-rival Real De Banjul and Wallidan slipped in the 2015-2016 First-Eco Partners-sponsored Gambia Football Federation division one league season after losing to Gambia Armed Forces and Gambia Ports Authority in their week two fixtures played at the weekend.
Real De Banjul lost to Gambia Armed Forces 1-0 at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium on Saturday, courtesy of midfielder Babou Badjan in the 56th minute of the game.
Wallidan lost to Gambia Ports Authority at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium on Sunday.
The defeat earned Real De Banjul one place from bottom in the league with 1 point in two games and Wallidan are mid-table with 3 points in two games following their 2-1 win over Banjul United in their opening league fixtures.
Steve drew 1-1 with Banjul United at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium, while Serrekunda United also drew with Bombada at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on Saturday.
Elsewhere, newly-promoted side Samger drew goalless with Brikama United at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on Sunday.
Brikama United, Gambia Armed Forces and Gambia Ports Authority are currently leading the league table with 4 points each in two games and are currently unbeaten in the league.
Wallidan are mid-table with 3 points in two games, Bombada, Steve Biko and Samger are with 2 points each in two games after drawing their two opening games.
Banjul United, Serrekunda United and Real De Banjul are struggling in the league with 1 point each in two outings and are hoping to win their next fixtures to move away from relegation zone and also keep their title hopes alive.
