Following his team's 2-0 thumping in the hands of Academy boys Samger in the week eleven fixtures of the 2009-10 Gambia Football Association (GFA) premier league over the weekend at the Brikama Mini Stadium.
The head coach of Real de Banjul, Pa Samba Mbenga, said was really disappointed with the performance of his team in the first round of the 12 clubs league championship.
According to Samba Mbenga, his team failed to play as a team and they also missed lot of scoring opportunities in the first round and they would go back to the training ground and improve on their weakness and also to strengthening their striking force ahead second matches.
He noted that his target was to at least collect 15 points but they managed to collect only 12 points which was really disappointed and they need to redoubled their efforts in the second round in order to move away from relegation zone and stay in the top flight football next season.
