The game was totally controlled and dominated by Real Chelsea FC, who had made some occasional goal attempts in the opening 5 minutes of the game, but their efforts paid dividend in the 7th minute of the game when striker Abdoulie Gassama netted the opener from superb strike, and later in the 21st minute Abdoulie Gassama extended the lead for Real Chelsea FC, after slashing through Starlight FC defence to make it 2-0 as he netted his second goal of the game, while Lamin Cham blasted the third goal in the dying minutes of the first half. Real Chelsea FC then went to bread with 3-0 advantage.
In the resumption of the second half, Starlight FC who were struggling in the first period have improved their defence and midfield in order to contain Real Chelsea FC superb striker force and came all out for an equaliser. They had created numerous scoring opportunities, but all their scoring chances were denied by Real Chelsea FC defence line.
