Pa Sanneh and Ebrima Kinteh were arraigned for alleged raping a 14 year-old girl.
The particulars of the offence revealed that on 28th January 2008 at Sanyang Village, the accused persons allegedly and jointly raped a 14 year -old girl (name with held) by having carnal knowledge with her. Both denied the charge.
According to Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh rape and murder are becoming too rampant in the society and therefore he would not grant the accused persons bail. He subsequently remanded the accused persons at the Mile II prison.
The case was adjourned until 12 September 2008.
