Police Officer Testifies In A Criminal Trespass Case

First Class Alagie Baba Jallow, a Police Officer attached to the Old Yundum Police Station recently testified at the Brikama Magistrates' Court before Magistrate Emmanuel Amadi, in a criminal trespass case against one Ebrima Camara.

In his testimony, Mr. Jallow told the court that, on 26th April 2009, he was on duty at the Old Yundum Police Station when he received a complaint of criminal trespass against the accused person.

According to him, when the accused was arrested and brought to the Old Yundum Police Station, he confessed to him that he had entered into the complainant's compound with a cutlass.

First Class Jallow further told the court that a voluntary statement was obtained from the accused.

The voluntary statement was tendered in court and marked as exhibit B.
