Charlotte
Alina Barney, founder of PL George Educational Foundation, has donated
materials to PL George Nursery School to be used during their 2017 class
graduation ceremony.
The
presentation ceremony was held at the school grounds in Bakau New Town.
The
materials donated included clothes for the graduating students to be used
during the ceremony and some learning materials.
The
secretary of the school, Mustapha Jatta, also presented D2,000 to be given to
the most outstanding students during the graduation ceremony.
Speaking
at the ceremony, the headmaster of the school, Mohamed Musa, expressed his
appreciation to Madam Charlotte Alina Barney for the donation, saying it was
not the first time she had brought such a surprise for the children.
He assured her that the items provided would
be put to good use and urged her to provide more support for the school.
For
her part, the donor and the founder of the school, Madam Charlotte Alina
Barney, thanked PL George staff for their hard work in making the school
progress.
Madam
Charlotte also thanked the mother club of the school for their support in not
only bringing their children to the school but also supporting the school in
all areas.
She
assured them of her continuous support and collaboration with the school.
In
her vote of thanks, Haddy Gitteh, deputy headmistress of PL George Nursery
School, thanked Madam Charlotte for her concern for the school at all times.
She
also hailed the mother club of the school for their efforts as well as the
secretary general of the school for the donation.
The
sectary general of the school, Mustapha Jatta, described the gift as timely and
thanked the donor and her partners.
