Six Upper Basic Schools in the Lower River Region (LRR) recently participated in the region's annual Upper Basic School Inter-Schools Athletics in preparation for the 2010 Gambia Secondary Schools Sports Association (GSSSA) Inter-School Championship in March.
Pakalinding Upper Basic School were crowned champions after scoring 387 points.
Kwinalla emerged 2nd with 373 points, and Farafenni Upper School came out 3rd position with 286 points.
Kiaf Upper Basic School are 4th with 215 points, while Pakaliba took 5th position with 180 points, and Nyoro Jattaba Upper Basic School took 6th position with 126 points.
