The Brikama Magistrates' Court presided over by Magistrate E. Amadi recently convicted and sentenced one Ousman Lowe, a 19-year-old boy to a mandatory jail term of one year.
According to the charge sheet, on 5th November 2009 at Kunkujang village in the Kombo North District Western Region, the convict stole from the dwelling house of one Omar Gaye, a Nokia mobile phone valued at 5000.
Following his plea of guilty to the charge, he was sentenced accordingly.
