Nyokoyorr FC have maintained their superb run of form in the ongoing Gunjur Nawetan championship after defeating Kulukochi United FC 3-0 in group B clash at the Gunjur Nyamina Football Field on Saturday.
Nyokoyorr’s goals were scored by Mamadou Bojang Jassey and Saikou Manneh, which dashed Kulukochi United’s hopes of coming back to their feet.
Though they fought back and created numerous goal-scoring opportunities they failed to make best use of their limited goal-scoring opportunities and thus the game ended 3-0 in favour Nyokoyorr FC.
In Group C, Jannehkoto have suffered yet another setback in the season following their 1-0 defeat to Late Ismaila FC in the 3pm encounter on Sunday.
The 2009-2010 league champions Oxford United FC have maintained their hundred percent record in the 2011-2012 Nawetan with a convincing victory of 2-0 over New Town FC.
