The National Inter-departmental Sport Association (NISA) has been invited by their counter-parts in Senegal to attend a forthcoming sporting event to be held in Zigunchor from the 9th to the 10th of January 2009
In an interview with Pointsports yesterday, the second vice -president of the association, Mr. Kalilou Bayo, said the sporting event is held every three years by their counterparts and this year's event will feature football, athletics, cycling and indoor games among others.
He sated that The Gambia is preparing very well ahead of the event noting that the NISA selection is presently engaged in a series of test matches with the various teams in the country adding that NISA will also participate in most of the events.
