MYDA set for sports administrative and coaching course

Manjai Youth Development Association Sports Committee (MYDA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, will embark on a three-day training programme for young aspiring coaches and sports administrators slated for 6 - 8 May 2011, information reaching Pointsports desk from Manjai Youth can reveal.

The full text of the press release signed by Lamin Jumu, secretary general of the association, and sent to Pointsport desk yesterday reads:

Manjai Youth Development Association Sports Committee, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, will embark on a three-day training programme for young aspiring coaches and sports administrators.

Twenty five (25) coaches will be drawn from last year’s participating teams for the coaching clinic. Fifteen MYDA executive members, three from education, health and environment committee and seven from the sports Committee will participate in sports administration course making it fifty altogether.

In this regard, Manjai Youth Development Association invites you to the official opening of the training programme on 6 May 2011 to make the event more colourful.
