A member of the Disaster Management Committee working at the
Regional Education office at Kanifing has commended Heart For Gambia for
bringing huge consignments of educational and other materials for schools
recently.
Musa Mendy was speaking at St. Peter's SeniorSecondary School
during a presentation ceremony by the foundation. He praised the foundation for
their hard work. The last container had about 500 chairs and 300 tables. We are
happy that it goes to schools, says Mr Mendy. The following schools benefited
St. Therese's UpperBasicSchool,
Serrekunda Primary, Abuko Upper Basic, St. Peter's SeniorSecondary School,
Marakissa, Bottrop Senior Secondary, Seyfo Senior Secondary, Kebba Jarju
Nursery, Wellingara.He said that the Heart
for Gambia
is to send containers of furniture and CrabIsland
has been ear marked as their next target.
Musa Mendy suggested that the Heart for Gambia
should consider disaster victims.
