The Gambia National Lottery recently presented a cheque for
D139,000 to Modou Lamin Sonko the winner of its PMU Jackpot.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the marketing manager
of GNL,
Fabakary Jammeh, said that GNL
will continue to improve and develop the lives of Gambians and non-Gambians. He
urged the general public to patronise GNL
as they are contributing to the development of The Gambia and creating
employment when they do so.
For his part, Modou Lamin Sonko hailed GNL
for the tremendous contribution it makes to the development of the country. He
also expressed optimism that the money he won will help pay his child's school
fees.
