Lamin Sey has left his post as Real De Banjul FC head coach after his contract
with the city-boys expired at the end of the 2016-2017 league season.
The
City-boys finished third-place in the country’s top flight league behind
second-spot Marimoo before losing to Hawks 7-6 on penalties in the FF cup final
played at the Independence Stadium last Friday.
This
was the second time Real De Banjul finished the season without a trophy since
2014 under coach Alagie Sarr.
It
would be recalled that Sey guided Gambia Armed Forces to the 2008-2009 domestic
division league title prior to his appointment as Real De Banjul coach last
season.
