Defending League Champions, Milan Rossoneri FC on 8 September 2013 beat Manchester United by 2 nil to open the defence of their title with a win in the ongoing Serrekunda East Sports Development Organisation (SESDO) Nawetan competition.
A header in each half from striker Jacky Ceesay was enough to earn the Bundung outfit their first three points of the competition.
Earlier on the same day in the 3pm kickoff, played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium, Medina FC drew goalless with B.B. Rovers FC.
At the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium on the same day, Plumbi FC drew 0-0 with Macdonald United, while Babylon FC also drew with Makann Bi FC by the same score line.

ARTICLE 14: POSTPONEMENT OF A MATCH
14. 1.1 The Referee shall have the discretion to postpone a match when both teams have reported to the ground in case of downpour of rain, darkness, etc.
14. 1.2 The Committee can postpone a match before the teams report to the ground if they consider the condition not suitable for the match to take place;
14. 1.3 A request for a postponement of a match by a team shall be made if the Committee consider the circumstances for postponement is beyond the control of the team i.e.
a) Death;
b) Sickness: if the sickness affects the majority of the registered players;
c) Arrest: if the majority of the players registered are arrested;
d) Etc. etc.
PLAYERS CARDS
Teams are warned to give the players their cards to be able to enter for free during matches. No player will be allowed henceforth to enter matches without their cards.
These cards are for the players, which give them access to enter matches in all recognized nawetaan centers to enter for free. Teams keeping these cards or denying players access to the nawetaan centers.
