A man was recently arraigned before Magistrate Abeke of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with assault causing actual bodily harm.
Njaga Jallow denied the charge and was granted court bail of D10,000 with two Gambian sureties.
The alleged offence read that on 24 June 2011, at Brikama Jamisa, in Kombo Central, West Coast Region, the accused, Njaga Jallow, assaulted one Sainabou Bah with a broken bottle on her elbow, thereby causing her occasional bodily harm.
The case continues.
