A man called Hadji Shimaha was yesterday arraigned before Magistrate Abeke of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with two counts of threatening violence and criminal trespass.
He denied the charges and was granted court bail of D10,000 with one Gambian surety.
According to the particulars of offence on count one, the accused, Hadji Shimaha, on 15 May 2013, at Pipeline, in the Kanifing Municipality, with intent to intimidate, insult and annoy one Sheriffo Suno, threatened to smash him with a cutlass.
Count two read that on the same date, place and year, with intent to intimidate, insult and annoy, Hadji Shimaha entered into the compound of the said Sheriffo Suno without permission.
The case was adjourned till 11 June 2013.
