Principal Magistrate Kayode of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court on 22nd February 2010, heard a criminal case of threatened violence brought against one Mustapha Jobe.
The charge sheet revealed that the accused, Mustapha Jobe on 20th February 2010, at Fajara threatened to kill one Mariama Jobe with a knife.
The police prosecutor, Inspector Mballow objected to the bail for the accused on the grounds that he continued to threaten to kill the complainant and the members of the family.
Magistrate Kayode granted his application and subsequently remanded the accused in custody.
He then adjourned the case to 8th of March 2010 for continuation.
