A man was yesterday arraigned at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court charged with being in possession of suspected stolen properties.
Mbye Njie denied the charge and was granted court bail of D10,000 with a Gambian surety who must deposit an ID card.
The case was then adjourned till 25 July 2012.
According to the particulars of offence read in court, on 16 July 2012, at Kololi Tavern, in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused, Mbye Njie, was found in possession of six mobile phones and one I-pod, which were all suspected to have been stolen property or unlawfully obtained.
