A man
called Morro Gaye was recently arraigned before magistrate Isatou Janneh of the
Bundung magistrates’ court on two counts of obtaining money by false pretence.
According to the particulars of offence in count one, Morro Gaye in 2014 at the Brusubi village in the Kombo North district of the West Coast Region, obtained the sum of D20,000 from one Musa, with the pretence that he would give him a plot of land.
The particulars of offence in count two alleged that the accused person, in 2014 obtained D30,000 from Musa.
He denied the charges, and the case was adjourned.
