A man called Modou Sanneh was yesterday arraigned at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with being in possession of prohibited drug.
The charge sheet read in court stated that on 26 July 2012, at Macdonald Street in Banjul, the accused, Modou Sanneh, had in his possession 12g of heroin, a prohibited drug.
He denied the charge and was remanded in custody.
The case was then adjourned till 21 August 2012.
