One Mustapha Jeng was recently arraigned at the Banjul Magistrates’ Court, charged with being in possession of prohibited drugs.
According to the charge sheet, on 14 July 2011 at the Banjul Ferry Terminal, the accused person, Mustapha Jeng, was found in possession of 840 grams of suspected cannabis sativa, and thereby committed an offence.
Jeng denied the charge, and was granted bail of D300,000 with two sureties with a landed property within the Greater Banjul Area.
The case continues.
