A man called Lamin Saho was yesterday granted court bail of D20,000 with one Gambian surety who shall deposit his or her biometric ID card with the registrar of the court.
The accused, Lamin Saho, was arraigned before the Bundung Magistrates’ Court and charged with assault, causing grievous bodily harm.
According to the particulars of offence, on 11 August 2013, at Kunkujang village, in Kombo North District of the West Coast Region, the accused, Lamin Saho, allegedly stabbed one Modou Lowe with a knife on his face and on his right hand.
After the accused’s denial of the charge, the prosecuting officer applied for an adjournment to enable him to call his witnesses.
His application was granted, and the case was adjourned till 9 September 2013.
