Senior Magistrate Sainabou Wadda-Ceesay of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court yesterday confirmed her resignation to the Point Newspaper.No reason(s) was however made available to this paper as to her resignation from the position.
According to this reporter, who was at the court when Magistrate Wadda-Ceesay bid farewell, most of the Court Clerks and staff who spoke to the Point Newspaper commended her for her dedication to duties.
"Magistrate Sainabou Wadda-Ceesay had been working diligently and was very nice to everybody", a Court Clerk said, saying they will really miss her.
Some of the police prosecutors who also spoke to the Point Newspaper commended her for the way and manner in which she was handling cases.
They said she always expeditiously dealt with cases without fear or favour.
