As part of their response to operation clean the nation, the youths of Latrikunda Sabiji in the Kanifing Municipality recently embarked on a massive cleansing exercise otherwise known as set-setal to the area as their contribution.
Speaking to the point in an exclusive interview shortly after their completion exercise Mr. Solomon Saidy youth Coordinator has said that this cleaning exercise is part of their contribution towards the operation clean the nation, ' We are doing this cleaning exercise to make our Environment clean and decent and free from bad smelling in the area. He said the youths believed that our area belongs to us and our Families are resided there, so we should make sure that our area is clean from dirty things from our own dustbins.
"Operation cleaning nation is saved guarding the people who are resided in the are intern of sickness because the mosquito are used to concealed themselves in the dirty thing in our dustbins, 'But if the area is clean then we will free from many petty sickness from our area.
" As for us we will make it as tour of duties every any Saturday set for operation cleaning the nation we will full participated to make our environment cleaning, ' is our own good health so we are doing it for ourselves.
