Lang Tombong Tamba nominated for GNOC presidency

Fourteen out of 23 affiliated associations of the Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC) yesterday forwarded the nomination of GFA Vice President, Major General Lang Tombong Tamba for GNOC presidency.

According to SeedyMB Kinteh, president of the Gambia Football Association, the nomination was done in line with the constitution of the GNOC.

He added that they had also sent copies to the National Sports Council and the Olympic Committee.

He said the 23 affiliated associations are eligible to vote in the June congress, adding that two associations are currently seating on the fence.
