Lamin United’s poor run of form has continued in the 2012-2013 GFA second division league, after their 4-1 defeat to Sait Matty in the week fourteen fixtures, played at the Brikama Mini-Stadium on Monday.
This was Lamin United’s third consecutive defeats in a row against Serrekunda United and Serrekunda East and the defeat has put them at the bottom of the table with 12 points in fourteen games.
Lamin United now needs to win their remaining four games in order to keep their chance of staying in the second tier next season.
The victory has put Sait Matty in good position for promotion to the top tier, after recovering from their 3-1 defeat to the debutant Bombada United last weekend.
Sait Matty are 4th position on the league standings with 20 points in fourteen outings. Lamin United are languishing at the bottom of the table with 12 points in fourteen games and need to win their remaining four matches to stay in the second division next season.
