The Lamin Youth and Sports Committee Nawettan has now reach its second round stage.
In an interview with Pointsports yesterday, Tapha Manneh, vice president of the committee, said twenty teams are presently participating in the Nawettan, noting that this year divisional players are not allowed to play in the Nawettan
He pointed out that the reason for not allowing them to play is to give a chance to the young talented players.
The following are the results of week 4 Jatta's 2 - Old hands 1, Workshop 0 - Swegam 0,
Sutton United 0 - Lamin Lodge 0, Sanchaba 4 - Nema United 2,
Mr. Manneh added that for Week five on Thursday Nema FC will meet Sutton United at 4.30pm,while on Friday, Old Hands will face Wayeto United. On Saturday Yarambamba will lock-horns with Jatta's FC and on September 14th Viking FC will meet Lamin Lodge.
The quarter-finals are expected to commence on September 25th.
