Kulukochi Youth Development Association recently embarked on massive cleansing exercise at the Gunjur Kulukochi Turning Table, Gunjur Hospital, and Gunjur Market.
The
exercise was facilitated by Muna Manneh of Trust Agency for Rural Development
(TARUD), Gunjur Kulukochi Youths Development Association and Kambie Youths
Association.
The
cleansing exercise attracted members of the Kulukochi Youth Development
Association and a cross-section of Kulukochi for the daylong cleansing
exercise.
Kulukochi
Youth Development Association was formed in 2009 meant to empower youths in
Kulukochi and has also been contributing towards the development of the
community of Kulukochi and its environs.
The
association had also embarked on anti-malaria marathon race meant to create
awareness on the killer disease (malaria) in the past two years. The exercise,
in line with the annual championship, attracted athletes from all the parts of
the country.
The
association has also built a nursery school in Kulukochi and is planning to
upgrade the nursery to Lower Basic School in the near future.
The
association is headed by chairman Ousman Bajo and young dedicated executives
mandated for the day-to-day running of the association.
