Two vital second half goals from substitute Alieu Konateh and Sanna Kujabi were enough for KGH Sports to celebrate a resounding victory over Sanchaba United in the just ended Canarias sponsored fitness football tournament in Lamin.
The championship which brought together teams from Lamin, such as Wayeto West, Sateba United, Sanchaba United and the KGH Sports, according to Yahya Manneh, the organiser of the tournament, was co-assisted by Javier Blanco under the sponsorship of Pol Brau from Barcelona.
KGH who managed to maintain a perfect start to the competition began the contest with a narrow 1-0 win over Wayeto West, who finished at the bottom of the four team table.
A win for KGH saw them reach the final of the championship and went on to lift the title at the expense of Sanchaba United, who earlier beat Sateba 4-2 on penalties following a bitterly fought 0-0 draw in the regulation period.
KGH Sports were rewarded with their spectacular performances, as they walked away with Barcelona complete set of jerseys when they emerged the champions, while the runners-up Sanchaba United went home with a Barcelona jersey and shirts.

Despite his side?s disappointing result, the Head Coach of Sanchaba United Mama Fofana used the opportunity to hail the team for the efforts they have put in place and thanked the sponsors for their wonderful initiative.
Baba Dumbuya, the Head Coach of the joyous KGH side who also commended the sponsors for setting up such a valuable initiative and the Canarias Lamin Link for the important role they have played was, however, full of praises for his young lads.
For his part, the tournament organiser Yahya Manneh, who played a key role during the two-day fitness tournament, took time to extend profound gratitude to the sponsorship coordinator Pol Brau for the kind gesture, as well as the people of Barcelona for giving them the assistance to partake in this worthy cause.
"I would also like to thank the players, officials and the entire football fraternity of Lamin for their role in making this event a huge success," Manneh who walked into Point office yesterday morning highlighted.
