Juventus, others sail into quarterfinals in East Knockout trophy

Juventus FC, Latrikunda United and Abuko United have booked their places to the quarterfinal stage on the ongoing Serrekunda East Sports Development Organisation (SESDO) Knockout competition after winning their respective games.

Juventus FC made it to the quarterfinals after beating BJ’s Academy by a goal to nil on Saturday at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

Latrikunda United booked their place in the quarterfinals of the knockout competition thanks to a 6-5 penalty shootout win over B.B. Rovers FC following a 1-1 draw on regulation time in the 5pm encounter played at the East Park on Friday.

Earlier on the same day in the 3pm kickoff, Abuko United beat S.V. Laar FC 1-nil to also secure their place in the quarterfinal stage of the same competition.
