The newly
built Jerma Beach Hotel and Resort in Kololi was on Friday, 13thJune 2008 dragged to the Kanifing Magistrates'
Court by H.M. Enterprises, claiming over D150,000. The case was presided over
by Senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbackeh.
The plaintiff, H.M Enterprises, is claiming for the sum of D152,350 being cost of electrical materials it supplied to the defendant on credit since October 2007 but which the defendant has failed to pay.
According to the claim of the plaintiff, several demands to recover the said amount were made but to no avail.
Ebrima Faye represented the plaintiff while Lawyer Modou Musa Drammeh appeared on behalf of the defendant.
The case was mentioned before being adjourned to 26thJune, 2008.
